I had planned for Exploring the North Shore to be a fairly short and simple resource to help the casual visitor plan a trip, but it didn’t work out that way. I’ve spent the last three years living on the Shore, enjoying the hiking trails and waterfalls, and it turns out there is so much more I wanted to share than what I initially planned.
Exploring the North Shore is 142 pages and almost 30,000 words, covering sunrise and sunset spots, agate hunting, skiing, free camping, road trip itineraries and waterfalls. I’m sharing detailed routes and trail guides for all of my favorite hiking, backpacking and paddling routes on the North Shore and Isle Royale, as well as highlights from Northern Wisconsin, the Apostle Islands, and Ely. The eBook comes with an interactive map, to make planning your trip as easy as possible!
